Custom Wheelchair Seats and Backs Heavy Duty

Custom wheelchair seats and backs for heavy duty users requires a bit superior quality, durability and strong hardware fixtures. Bio ST-HD seats have one and a half inches of high quality foam on wheelchairs backs and two inches on wheelchair seats. Seats and backs are fixed to a wheelchair frame with steel mounting brackets. Foam module is secured in one and a half inch piece of high density polyethylene.

Custom positioning pads enables the proper seating and comfort of the users. We have a huge collection of hardware fixtures available to facilitates the proper placement of the pads on mobility equipment. Hardware are designed in such a manner that some hardware allows the easy removal of the pads and some allows for the swing away of pads.

Fasteners and Miscellaneous Hardware

Most of the hardware used to mount solid seats and solid backs is made of stainless steel. The metal used have tensile strength and that would provide overall durability and longevity. Nuts, bolts and washers are also black oxy coated stainless steel hardware so that brackets can match them.
