InHealth HME Cartridge EasyFlow And ClassicFlow Heat and Moisture Exchange is a daily device that inserts into all styles of TruSeal Adhesive Housings. It may be used by laryngectomees, esophageal speakers, electrolarynx users, and tracheoesophageal prosthesis users with manual occlusion.

How to use Blom-Singer HME Cartridge?
The HME Cartridge must be replaced at least once a day to maintain the proper function of the HME system. 

1. Insert the HME Cartridge into the tracheostomy housing or tube and gently push the HME Cartridge until it snaps into place. A properly inserted HME Cartridge will sit flush and fit snugly inside the housing or tube. 

2. Tracheoesophageal speech with a voice prosthesis and HME is produced by pressing down on the EasyTouch speech button. You will feel the speech button completely close. Upon manual release, the EasyTouch speech button returns to its open, breathing position.

Note: If the EasyTouch speech button is not completely closed, there may be difficulty voicing or a whistling sound.

With EasyFlow, you can breathe a little easier. Its foam filter is more porous than the ClassicFlow. This allows you to breathe more freely to match your activity level and pulmonary needs. The beige tint and non-reflective surface texture make EasyFlow less noticeable.
