The Little Ones standard skin barrier is intended for children who have had colostomy, ileostomy, or urostomy surgery. This skin barrier has an audible click confirming a secure connection to the pouch and a fabric collar with an ultra thin border for improved flexibility.

How to Use ConvaTec Little Ones Standard Skin Barrier?

• Hands should be washed with soap and water.
• Remove the skin barrier from the packaging and take off the backing paper to prepare it.
• Choose a size that is appropriate for your stoma. The barrier will not adhere properly if it is too large. It will not be easy to wear if it is too small.
• Cut the barrier to fit your stoma if necessary. Be cautious to cut carefully to avoid damaging the adhesive.
• Apply the barrier to your skin, keeping it centered over your stoma.
• To ensure that the barrier is secure, press it firmly into place.
• Attach the pouch to the barrier if you're using a two-piece system.
