PARI PEP S Therapy System

Pari Positive Expiratory Pressure S provides both traditional PEP therapy and a combination of nebulizer therapy. Positive Expiratory Pressure (PEP) therapy has been shown to be beneficial for the opening of airways in the lungs and can assist with secretion clearance. Designed for use with the PARI LC PLUS® or LC Sprint®, combination therapy provides concurrent PEP therapy with clinically proven aerosol delivery. The PEP S System includes PEP Device and mouthpiece, and Instructions for Use.

Features of PEP S Therapy System:

1. It may also be used as a substitute for pursed-lip-breathing in order to promote muscle strengthening and endurance.
2. Such therapy requires a controlled breathing technique that results in an increase of air pressure in the lungs when exhaling.
3. One effect of such an increased pressure is that air and, or medicated aerosol can be pushed slightly deeper into the lungs, where it may help to loosen secretions, which can then be coughed up.
4. The recommended difference in pressure when inhaling and exhaling with the PARI PEP™ S System is in the range between 10 and 20 cm of water.

Best Practice: Cleaning the PARI PEP™ S after each treatment is not enough-you must regularly disinfect or sterilize the PARI PEP™ S between treatments to prevent serious or fatal illness caused by contamination of the PARI PEP™ S.

• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
