The unique multi-layer system has four distinct layers that all serve a unique purpose for the healing of the leg ulcer. The first layer is a contact layer that serves as padding against the wound and absorbs any exudate that comes out during compression and healing. The second layer serves as padding against bony prominences that may damage tissue during compression. Once applied, the system can stay in place for up to one week.
