Smiths Medical Portex Blue Line ULTRA Replacement Inner Tracheostomy Cannula - 7.5 mm is designed to be placed and secured into the outer cannula of Blue Line Ultra trach tubes that are either cuffed or uncuffed. Portex inner cannulas fit perfectly into the main tube and are constructed of soft PVC plastic. Portex blue line inner cannulas are made of a substance that resembles soft silicone. To avoid ventillator disconnect, the cannulas will glide into the outer cannula and snap into place. The trach tube's tabs can be squeezed and pulled to lock into place and come undone.
