Vitale Hydrocolloid (standard thickness) dressings have a special tapered edge that makes the dressing much more comfortable and helps to eliminate roll-up at the edges.

Features

• Odor Eliminating: Holds exudates and their odors deep within the dressing.
• Moist wound environment: Keeps the wound moist for the ideal healing environment.
• Tapered Edge: The new tapered edge prevents roll-ups at the edges and is much more comfortable.
• Absorbent: Absorbs exudates and holds moisture within the dressing, allowing usage for up to 7 days.
• Sacral Size available: New Sacral Hydrocolloid is convenient for use in sacral wounds (picture to right).
• Conforms to wound contours: Body heat makes the dressing more conformable, and it may be cut to fit.

Indications: Hydrocolloids are indicated for partial & full thickness wound (Stages II-IV), with light to moderate exudation. Hydrocolloids are for single use only and can be used for treatment of the following wounds:

• Arterial Ulcers.
• Venous Ulcers.
• Diabetic Ulcers.
• Pressure Ulcers.
• Skin Donor Sites.
• Post-Operative Wounds.
• 1st & 2nd Degree Burns (not appropriate for 3rd Degree).
