By acting as a primer, 3M Prep Protection Film aids in the adhesion of an antimicrobial incise drape to the patient's skin and guards against incise drape lift. It was scientifically created to protect the prep from removal during surgery. Proper skin prep lowers a patient's bacterial load during the perioperative period, offering both immediate and lasting protection.
