CompriFoam Foam Padding Bandage is ideal for padding under compression bandages for phenological and lymphological indications, as well as under plaster and synthetic casts in orthopedic settings. It is designed to evenly distribute the pressure from compression bandages over extremities, thus preventing constrictions and ensuring an effective compression therapy. Open-cell foam creates compression padding The non-slip texture of the foam also makes applying the compression bandage easier. Apply as a layer over stockinette and under a compression bandage or under plaster and synthetic casts to provide additional padding. Apply under compression bandages to even out the circumference of limbs for more even pressure distribution.
Features
- Pressure Distribution: Ensures even pressure distribution under compression bandages, promoting effective therapy.

Directions for Use
- Lymphedema Treatment: Apply to help reduce edema and increase tissue pressure, preventing re-accumulation of fluid.
- Compression Bandaging: Use under compression bandages like Comprilan® to ensure consistent pressure distribution.
- Orthopedic Applications: Apply as padding under plaster and synthetic casts for added comfort and protection.
Cautions
- Cover any open wounds with an appropriate dressing.
- Yellowing, if it occurs, should not affect performance.
Application Method
- Begin bandaging at the ankle and continue bandaging laterally.
- Cover midfoot and dorsum with one layer, bringing the bandage to the base of the toes.
- Move the bandage transversely toward the heel.
- Continue spiraling the bandage toward the calf muscle, overlapping each turn by half the bandage width.
- Finish bandaging approximately two fingers width below the tibial tuberosity.
