Cutimed Sorbion Sachet Multi Star Wound Dressing

Cutimed Sorbion Sachet Multi Star is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, superabsorbent wound dressing. The dressing consists of a strongly water-retaining superabsorbent core and an outer layer from a hypoallergenic polypropylene fleece. Both sides of the dressing can be applied to the wound. The product does not contain any pharmacologically active substances and is free of binders or adhesives.

Direction to use:

• Before applying the dressing, disinfect hands and use gloves
• If necessary, irrigate the wound and remove leftover cleansing solution
• Select a suitable dressing size so that the absorbent inner core overlaps the wound margins by at least 1 cm/0.4 inch
• When taking the product out of the pouch, do not touch the wound pad
• Apply the dressing towards the wound. Both sides of the dressing can be applied
• Secure the dressing using an appropriate fixation (films, medical tapes, bandages, or other suitable dressing). Take absorption expansion into consideration while fixating

How to remove:

• To remove fixation tapes, lift one corner and gently remove the dressing. Adherence of wound deposits to Cutimed Sorbion Sachet Multi Star is a desirable effect, contributing to wound cleansing (soft debridement)

Indications:

• Pressure injuries
• Ulcus cruris
• Diabetic foot ulcers

Wear time: Dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound conditions and saturation of the wound dressing.
