Cutimed Sorbact Hydroactive B Dressing

Cutimed Sorbact Hydroactive B Dressing is a hydrophobic, bacteria-binding, absorbent gel dressing with an adhesive border. It features a highly absorbent hydropolymer matrix that balances fluid absorption and hydration, combined with hydrophobic bacteria-binding Sorbact technology. The dressing is covered with a semipermeable polyurethane film, and its hydrogel fixation border is free of natural rubber latex.

How to use:

• Clean the wound according to appropriate clinical protocols
• Select a dressing that matches the wound size. Ensure Cutimed Sorbact Hydroactive B overlaps the wound margins by at least 2 cm for optimal results
• Remove the protective film and apply the green adhesive side directly to the wound
• Depending on the wound location, additional fixation may be applied if necessary
• Change the dressing as needed based on wound condition. Monitor to prevent the dressing from drying out and adhering to the wound. Replace when the dressing becomes cloudy or opaque from fluid absorption, or at the latest after 4 days, or if exudate reaches 1 cm from the edge
• For wounds showing clinical signs of infection, inspect more frequently and consider appropriate systemic treatment

Indications:

• Management of low to moderate exudating partial- to full-thickness wounds, including clean, colonized, contaminated, or infected wounds
• Chronic wounds, such as venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure injuries
• Postoperative dehisced wounds and traumatic wounds

Wear time: If the clinical condition allows, the dressing can remain in place for up to 4 days.
