Optifoam Post-Op Ag+ Foam Dressing With Adhesive Border is designed with advanced foam technology to provide superior fluid management and antimicrobial protection. The specially engineered foam minimizes the risk of granulation tissue growing into the dressing, while its high fluid handling capacity supports a moist wound environment for optimal healing. The waterproof outer layer prevents strikethrough and helps block bacterial contamination. Its moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) adjusts to fluid levels, maintaining ideal breathability and moisture balance. Each dressing contains nominally 0.13% silver chloride by weight, offering continuous antimicrobial protection against a broad range of bacteria.

Indications:

• Moderate to heavily draining post-operative wounds.
• Cuts, lacerations, sutured wounds, and donor sites.

Contraindications:

• Third-degree burns.
• Lesions with active vasculitis (frequent dressing changes recommended).
• Known sensitivity or allergy to silver.

Direction to Use:

1. Remove dressing Strips from the package. Remove first release finer.
2. Place dressing on the wound. Remove second liner and smooth down.
3. Remove backing liners and smooth down.

Change Frequency: Change the dressing when drainage reaches the edges of the foam pad. Dressing may be left in place for up to seven days, depending on wound condition and fluid levels.
