Rosidal K Short Stretch Compression Bandage is a washable and reusable 100% cotton bandage, can also be used for support and stress relief in traumatology and sports medicine. It is used for strong compression in the management of acute and chronic lymphedema, edema, and venous insufficiency. This Bandage is produced in rib-weave technique and woven edge, using cotton threads in the warp and weft. The bandage ends are fixed on one side with a transfer label which is adjusted to the particular bandage width. This bandage is a strongly compressing, textile elastic bandage with a shortstretch for strong compression of the extremities in phlebology and lymphatic therapy. The bandage is rolled up onto itself and provided with 2 fleshcoloured bandage clips.

Stronger grip ensures safety: The bandages are pleasantly air-permeable and very skin-friendly. Thanks to the textured structure of the fabric the turns of the bandage adhere firmly to each other. To make it even less likely that the bandage will slip, Rosidal haft, a cohesive short stretch bandage, can be used for additional security, or a cohesive fixation bandage such as Mollelast haft can be used to secure the end.

Properties:

The applied Rosidal K Short Stretch Compression Bandage develops high working pressure, by which compression of the deep venous system (upon movement by the patient) is assured. In addition, the bandage is appropriate for support and relief in traumatology and sports medicine. The stretch bandage can be washed at 40�C, using a mild laundry detergent. If heavily soiled, the bandage may be washed at 95�C several times without any adverse effect on its structural stability or color however a mild laundry detergent must be used.

Intended purpose:

The Rosidal K Short Stretch Compression Bandage is a compression bandaging, for phlebological indications, e.g. varices, insuffiency of the perforator veins, thrombophlebitis, phlebothrombosis, post-thrombotic syndrome, chronic venous insuffiency stages I to III, in cases of oedemas (phleboedema, lymphoedema, lipoedema, posttraumatic, postoperative, during pregnancy), after varicose vein procedures. The stretch bandage is a support and relief bandaging for the prophylaxis and treatment of contusions, distorsions, tendon injuries and luxations.
