Description
Acticoat Flex 3 Silver Coated Antimicrobial Barrier Dressing delivers sustained silver antimicrobial action in a flexible, low-adherent contact layer. Its advanced nanocrystalline silver coating and conformable polyester design help manage bioburden while supporting a moist wound environment, suitable for a broad range of acute and chronic wounds.
Features:
- Broad-Spectrum Antimicrobial Protection: Nanocrystalline silver helps kill a wide range of wound pathogens rapidly (often within 30 minutes), helping reduce bioburden risk.
- Sustained Activity Up to 3 Days: Delivers continuous antimicrobial barrier action for up to three days following application.
- Flexible, Low-Adherent Design: Single layer of knitted polyester conforms to complex anatomical areas and reduces trauma at dressing removal.
- Allows exudate transport through the dressing: This helps reduce the risk of maceration for faster closure with less potential for leakage and odor.
- Comfortable for Wear: Lightweight and flexible for improved patient comfort during wear time.
Indications:
For use on partial and full thickness wounds and this includes, first and second degree burns, covering of grafts, surgical sites, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers.
Indications: It is indicated for use on partial and full-thickness wounds including pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first and second-degree burns, surgical sites, and donor sites. It is also compatible with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy for a period of up to 3 days
