Acticoat Silver Foam Dressing

Acticoat Antimicrobial Surgical Dressing provides an effective barrier to bacterial penetration. In the presence of exudate the dressing will help maintain a moist wound environment. Acticoat Surgical Dressing is indicated for use in light to moderately exuding partial and full thickness wounds including decubitus ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, and donor sites. Acticoat Surgical dressing may be used over debrided and partial thickness wounds.

Features

• Kills bacteria in vitro in as little as 30 minutes, 2-5 times faster than other forms of silver.
• The antimicrobial barrier remains effective for up to 3 days, increasing convenience for patient and caregiver.

Intended Use
As an antimicrobial barrier layer over partial and full-thickness wounds such as: first and second degree burns and donor and recipient graft sites, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, and diabetic ulcers.
