When light pressure is applied while speaking, laughing, coughing, or sneezing, this button helps stop air from escaping. The large pores in the silicone adhesive allow moisture to enter the absorbent foam, protecting the healing stoma site, and provide secure fixation with painless dressing changes. This combination reduces peristomal irritation and ensures that the dressing stays comfortable. It is a hydrophilic foam dressing that is skin-friendly, low-profile, and has a soft silicone contact layer and surrounding adhesive.
