Airlife Non-Conductive Bacterial-Viral Retentive Filter is a single-use respiratory filter engineered to reduce the transmission of airborne bacteria and viral particles in breathing systems such as ventilators, anesthesia circuits, and high-flow oxygen therapy. It uses electrostatic, hydrophobic filtration media that resists moisture accumulation while maintaining low airflow resistance.

• High Filtration Efficiency: Captures up to approximately 99.9% of bacterial particulates and 99.7% of viral particulates through electrostatic attraction, helping reduce the risk of pathogen transmission.
• Non-Conductive, Hydrophobic Media: The filter’s hydrophobic media resists moisture, preventing saturation and helping preserve filtration efficiency during use.
• Low Flow Resistance: Designed with low resistance (~0.54 cm H₂O at 1.0 L/sec airflow) to minimize added work of breathing and maintain efficient airflow.
• Standard Connection Size: Features 22 mm OD x 22 mm ID ISO connectors compatible with most adult ventilator circuits and anesthesia tubing.
• Compact Compressible Volume: Approximately 43 mL compressible volume, ensuring minimal dead space in the breathing circuit.
