Allevyn AG Absorbent Silver Barrier Hydrocellular Dressing is a sterile, non-adhesive antimicrobial foam dressing that combines advanced hydrocellular technology with silver sulfadiazine to support effective wound management. It is engineered to manage moderate-to-heavy exudate, maintain a moist healing environment, help reduce bacterial colonization, and protect against external contamination.

Features:

• Antimicrobial Silver Barrier: Ionic silver (silver sulfadiazine) delivers broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection to help reduce the risk of infection at the wound site.
• Hydrocellular Foam Core: Highly absorbent foam manages moderate to heavy exudate, helping maintain optimal moisture balance that supports wound progression.
• Non-Adhesive Contact Layer: Gentle on the wound and surrounding skin, minimizing pain and trauma on removal.
• Profiled Edges: Designed to conform to body contours, enhancing comfort and reducing edge lift.
• Breathable Outer Film: Allows moisture vapor exchange while providing a bacterial barrier to protect the wound from external contaminants.
• Extended Wear Time: Can remain in place up to 7 days depending on wound exudate levels and clinical guidance.

Indications: Indicated for chronic and acute full-thickness, partial-thickness or granulating exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites, surgical wounds, infected wounds and burns (first and second-degree)

• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
