Allevyn Gentle Border is a silicone-gel adhesive hydrocellular foam dressing that incorporates a unique triple action technology. It is made up of a top layer of highly permeable polyurethane, a layer of hydrocellular foam, and a perforated wound contact layer coated with gel glue. Up to 7 days of wear duration.
Features:
- Outer film is highly permeable and waterproof.
- 3-layer foam dressing.
- Can be cut.
- Adhesive border provides a soft yet effective attachment.
- Capable of covering spot-sized wounds.
- Small enough to wear discretely, easy to apply and remove adhesive, gentle on skin, and ideal for small wound sites.
- Also effective for abrasions and donor sites.
- High breathability (MVTR) promotes proper moisture balance.
- The unique tapered edge helps the dressing to lay smoothly around the wound margins.
Indications: It is indicated for chronic and acute, full-thickness, partialthickness or granulating exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites, surgical wounds, infected wounds and burns (first- and second-degree).
