AMT G-JET (G-J) Button represents a major advancement in low-profile gastric-jejunal enteral access, designed to enhance patient comfort, feeding efficiency, and long-term device performance. The uniquely engineered apple-shaped balloon is designed to increase surface contact at the stoma site, thereby improving sealing performance and minimizing leakage, which may otherwise contribute to gastric irritation or hypertrophic granulation tissue. The G-JET button features innovative internal tube geometry that transitions from a tri-lumen proximal (gastric) segment to a larger single-lumen distal (jejunal) segment, promoting improved flow characteristics while reducing clogging risk. Reduced sharp internal corners further enhances formula flow, and the larger jejunal lumen allows easier guidewire placement and removal. Integrated anti-kink technology supports consistent feeding performance, making the AMT G-JET a reliable option for long-term gastric-jejunal enteral nutrition management.
Features
- Designed with exclusive enteral ports to help reduce the risk of misconnections.
- Durable balloon design engineered for extended balloon life and consistent performance.
- Low-profile external bolster offers a smaller footprint for enhanced comfort and discretion.
- Clear port differentiation: Distinct shapes and labeling help support correct feeding access.
- Improved Y-Port design: Enhanced plug retention helps reduce accidental leakage during feeding.
- Enhanced night visibility: Glow-in-the-dark jejunal port and connector support easier night-time connections.
- Anti-kink technology: Spring reinforcement helps maintain lumen patency and flow; MR Conditional (16F & 18F only).
- Improved flow performance: Jejunal lumen provides approximately 60% greater cross-sectional area to support efficient feeding.
G-JET Benefits: Reduced Clogging
The AMT G-JET Button incorporates a specialized internal lumen design developed to address common causes of enteral tube clogging. The transition from a tri-lumen gastric segment to a single, larger jejunal lumen helps improve flow efficiency while minimizing internal edges where residue may accumulate.
This design supports smoother delivery of enteral nutrition and may contribute to fewer feeding interruptions and reduced need for tube replacement over time.
The AMT G-JET Low Profile Gastric-Jejunal Enteral Feeding Tube is available in 14F, 16F, & 18F.
NOTE: The AMT G-JET may be placed percutaneously under fluoroscopic or endoscopic guidance or as a replacement device using an established stoma tract.
Placement and removal must be performed by a qualified clinician.
NOTE: G-JET devices should never be cut to custom lengths.
The G-JET Button is cleared for initial placement and is MR Conditional.
