Atos Provox NiD Non-Indwelling Voice Prosthesis

Atos Provox NiD Voice Prosthesis is a non-indwelling voice prosthesis, designed to be inserted, removed and cleaned by the patients themselves. Each prosthesis comes with a non-sterile, reusable NID Inserter. The Provox NiD is attached to a strong polypropylene cord with a safety medallion that is too wide to fall into the tracheostoma.

• Patients may insert, remove and clean the device themselves.
• Available in 17Fr and 20Fr diameters, with commonly used lengths.
• Attached to a wide safety medallion to prevent it from falling into the airway.
• With clinician guidance, patients may learn to insert, remove and clean the NiD prosthesis themselves.
• Using dedicated cleaning tools, prosthesis may be cleaned while inside puncture or it may be removed for cleaning.
