BD E-Z Scrub 205 Surgical Scrub Brush/Sponge With Nail Cleaner is a preoperative surgical scrub brush designed for effective antimicrobial cleansing. It comes pre-impregnated with povidone-iodine (minimum available iodine 1%) for enhanced infection control. The brush features proprietary polyethylene soft bristles that enhance mechanical cleaning while minimizing skin irritation. A soft sponge on the opposite side allows for gentle cleansing on sensitive areas. The ergonomic design improves comfort and usability, leading to better compliance during surgical prep.

Use:

Preoperative cleaning of healthcare personnel arms and hands. Significantly reduces the number of micro-organisms on the hands and forearms prior to surgery.

Warnings:

• For external use only.
• Avoid excessive heat 40°C (104°F)
• Discard after single use.
• Do not use if redness or irritation occurs.
• When using this product avoid contact with eyes.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if severe adverse reactions occur
• Keep out of reach of children.
• If swallowed or gets in eyes, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Directions:

• Clean under nails with nail pick
• Wet hands and forearms
• Scrub thoroughly for 3 minutes paying particular attention to the nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces
• Rinse thoroughly
• Repeat scrub for 3 more minutes
• Rinse thoroughly.

Inactive ingredients:

Ammonium nonoxynol sulfate, disodium phosphate, hydrogen peroxide, octoxynol, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, USP water.
