Composition and Mode of Action
The Biatain Ag Dressing is comprised of an absorbent polyurethane foam with a patented silver complex. In contact with exudate, the dressing provides a homogenous distribution of silver ions for an extended antimicrobial effect, supported by its unique 3D structure that conforms to the wound bed. It is designed to remain effective for up to 7 days, adjusting the release of silver ions as needed.
