Bodypoint® center-pull four point padded hip belt with swivel buckle attaches to the wheelchair in four places to assure that the pelvis does not move from an aligned, stable position and stays securely against the seat and back supports. Bodypoint® four point padded hip belt has extra points which prevent it from riding up into the abdomen or twisting and moving out of position making it ideal for anterior pelvic tilt, pelvic rotation and thrusting.
Seat mounting bracket (optional) provides an easy & secure way to mount belts to active wheelchairs. They are ideal for chairs with sling seat upholstery or a solid seat base. The 20° bracket is designed for mounting on the side of the seat tube, and the 90° bracket is great for mounting on top. Either configuration places the belt as close as possible to the user, for better fit.
FeaturesUser Issues: Fall risk, sacral sitting (or risk for), posterior or anterior pelvic tilt, pelvic obliquity/rotation | Product Examples: Two or four-point hip belt, with sub-ASIS pads (LB belts) if needed. With significant sliding risk or obliquity/rotation, consider a four-point belt or Evoflex®. |

Q. What is the advantage of a swivel buckle in this hip belt?
A. The swivel buckle pivots to help equalize tension across both sides of
the belt, providing greater comfort and more precise pelvic support—especially
helpful for asymmetrical positioning.
Q. How does the four-point attachment system benefit users?
A. The four-point system includes secondary anchor straps that prevent the
belt from riding up or twisting, keeping the pelvis in a stable, aligned
position throughout daily use.
Q. What does "center-pull" mean in this context?
A. "Center-pull" means the belt is tightened by pulling both straps toward
the center, allowing even pressure distribution and more intuitive adjustments
for caregivers or users.
Q. How does this belt help prevent the belt from riding up or twisting?
A. The four-point system with secondary anchoring straps ensures the belt
stays in place and prevents upward migration into the abdomen, maintaining
proper posture and comfort.
Q. Is this belt comfortable for extended wear?
A. Yes. It features a wrinkle-free, soft fabric lining and closed-cell foam
padding, which ensure excellent pressure distribution and long-lasting comfort.
Q. Can the belt be used with different types of wheelchair seats?
A. Absolutely. The belt is compatible with sling upholstery and solid seat
bases, and works optimally with optional mounting brackets for a secure,
user-friendly installation.
Q. Is the belt easy to adjust for different users or body types?
A. Yes. The deeper D-ring design is easy to grasp, even for larger hands or
users with limited dexterity, and the adjustable straps allow a snug and
customized fit.
Q. How do I determine the size I need?
