Q. What does "center-pull" mean, and why does it matter?
A. Center-pull means the belt tightens by pulling both ends toward the buckle at
the center. This symmetrical adjustment provides balanced support and makes it
easier for caregivers to use from the front.
Q. Why choose a non-padded version?
A. The non-padded version offers a slim, breathable option for users who prefer
less bulk or who don’t need pressure relief padding. It’s often used over
clothing or for lighter positioning needs.
Q. How secure is the push-button buckle?
A. The push-button buckle offers a secure, snap-fit closure that is easy to
operate, even for users with limited dexterity. It also provides a quick-release
function for safety and convenience.
Q. Will this belt help someone who tends to slide forward in their
wheelchair?
A. Yes. When properly positioned across the pelvis, the belt prevents forward
sliding and helps maintain an upright seated posture, which is especially
helpful for users with limited trunk control.
Q. How easy is it for a caregiver to adjust or remove the belt?
A. The center-pull design and push-button buckle make it quick and simple for
caregivers to adjust tension or release the belt during transfers or
repositioning.
