Q. Is this hip belt compatible with all wheelchairs?
A. The hip belt is compatible with most wheelchairs, including those with
sling seat upholstery or solid seat bases. Optional seat mounting brackets (20°
for side mounting or 90° for top mounting) ensure a secure and close fit.
Q. Can the Sub-ASIS pads be added or removed after purchase?
A. Yes, the Sub-ASIS pads attach via hook-and-loop material, allowing them
to be added, removed, or repositioned as needed.
Q. Is the hip belt adjustable for comfort?
A. Yes, the four-point design allows adjustments via primary and secondary
straps to accommodate clothing changes or user comfort. The creep-resistant
webbing ensures the belt maintains its shape and fit over time.
Q. What is the difference between a two point or four point pelvic belt?
A. While both belts offer great support, the four-point belt is able to offer more firm positioning and stays in place better due to the anchor/tether straps.
Q. What is the difference between a center-pull and a rear-pull hip belt?
A. A center-pull hip belt tightens from the center of the belt, with straps
pulling outward on both sides for balanced adjustment. A rear-pull hip belt
tightens from the rear of the pad, pulling toward the center of the belt,
allowing adjustments from the back.
Q. How do I determine the size I need?
A. Sizing details, including measuring instructions, are included in our
Bodypoint Product Guide.Sizing information and measuring instructions are aso available on the “sizing” tab on each product page.
