Independent Enclosure Panels:

  • Enclosure consists of 4 independent panels
  • Panels can be removed individually for cleaning or replacement
  • If safety enclosure is no longer required, front panel can be removed to provide a 3-sided day bed

Tension Control Tabs:

  • Tabs on each panel create the ability to adjust the desired tension/tautness of individual panels

Lift Accessibility:

  • There is 11.5″ of space between the floor and bottom
  • There is 70.5″ of height between the floor and the top bed rail
  • This allows room to utilize many personal lifting devices

Mattress Height for Transfer:

  • Mattress height is 24″ from the floor
  • Allows easy transfers

Courtney bed is designed to exceed the FDA's 7 zones of entrapment guidelines:

The Courtney Bed is FDA approved as a Class 1 manual hospital bed.

  • Zone 1: Within the rail
  • Zone 2: Under the rail, between the rail supports, or next to a single rail support
  • Zone 3: Between the rail and the mattress
  • Zone 4: Under the rail, at the ends of the rail
  • Zone 5: Between split bed rails
  • Zone 6: Between the end of the rail and the side edge of the headboard or footboard
  • Zone 7: Between the headboard or footboard and the mattress end

Courtney bed optional features:

Top Mesh Panel:

  • Top Mesh Panel can be added to any Courtney Bed with initial assembly or any time after
  • This option will fully enclose the bed
  • Same mesh as the enclosure panels to allow air flow
  • Securely holds panels between two bed frame members

Top Mesh Panel with Camera Access:

  • Same as the original top panel but includes access for camera

Access Grommets:

  • Access Grommets provide access into the sleeping area for tubing without compromising the safety and security of the enclosure
  • Access Grommets can be added to any Courtney Bed during manufacturing
  • If required later, individual panels can be replaced with ones including Access Grommets
  • Access Grommets are installed in both the head and foot panels of the bed
  • Special requests for additional Access Grommets or locations can be accommodated

Exterior Padding:

  • Exterior Padding can be added to any Courtney Bed with initial assembly or any time after
  • Full and partial bed coverage available
  • 12 color options available

Zippered Back Panel:

  • Zippered Back Panel option provides a second zippered access panel into the bed
  • This provides access from both the front and back of the bed
  • Zippered Back Panel can be added during manufacturing

Low Bed Height:

  • 13″ mattress height
  • Provides the option to crawl into the bed
  • Bed posts can be replaced later if standard height is desired
  • Accommodates low ceiling height
  • Sleeping area remains the same size as the standard bed

Retractable Casters:

  • Casters retract allowing the bed to sit firmly on the legs when not engaged
  • No wheel locks to disengage, break, wear out
  • Easily engaged to allow bed to be moved around the room
  • Can be added at anytime
  • Not available on Low Bed Height frames

Warranty

  • Manufacturer warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years to the original consumer/purchaser.
  • Manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is to repair, replace or correct any such defect that develops and will labor to expedite replacement parts at no cost to the client.
  • The warranty period begins on the date the device is delivered and is subject to the proper installation, operation and maintenance of the device in accordance with installation instructions.
  • Any warranty claims must be made by client in writing within sixty days of the development of a problem.
  • Excluded from this warranty are issues related to misuse, misapplication, storage damage, negligence, or modification to the device or its components.
  • Note: The Mason hospital mattress carries a manufacturer’s limited 3 years warranty.
  • Parts under warranty will be covered at no cost. Any labor cost for service under warranty is not covered as per our terms of sale.
  • The product warranty is applicable as per the terms and conditions given by the product manufacturer.
