Covaderm Plus V.A.D. Vascular Access Dressing is an all-in-one self-adherent absorbent dressing ideal for a wide variety of low to moderately-exuding wounds as an either primary or secondary dressing. The backing film provides a moist wound environment and protects the wound from water and contamination. All dress is made of a laminate of polyurethane film and a polyester non-woven coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. The absorbent pad is covered with a low-adherent polyolefin net.

USE: Covaderm wound dressings absorb wound drainage, promote a moist environment helpful to healing, and serve as a barrier against water and bacteria when used as a secondary dressing.
INDICATIONS:
Covaderm wound dressings are indicated for minor abrasions, minor lacerations, and minor scalds and burns.
When under the care or direction of a licensed practitioner they are indicated for:
Donor sites
Second degree burns
Other superficial wounds
More severe lacerations, cuts and abrasions
Dermal ulcers (e.g., pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and other secreting lesions)
Covaderm Plus VAD is also indicated for IV sites, and other tubular sites and incisions
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Covaderm wound dressings are contraindicated for:
Third-degree burns.
Heavily bleeding wounds.
Individuals who are sensitive to or have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or its materials.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Carefully read the WARNINGS and CAUTIONS prior to use.
Inspect the packaging for damage or defects. Replace the entire dressing if the packaging is damaged.
Clean the wound of excess drainage and fluid, and thoroughly dry skin around the wound.
Open the dressing package
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT CONDITIONS: Store at room temperature and avoid excessive heat and humidity. In addition to the competent authority in the country where the patient resides, serious incidents must be reported to DeRoyal Industries, Inc.

If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
