Starts From
Description
Covrsite Composite Dressing is intended to be used as a secondary cover dressing for non-adhesive foams, gels, gel sheets, alginates, and wound fillers. It can be used to treat both acute and chronic wounds. Additionally, it can be used over central line dressings in place of tape and gauze. The dressing can be changed every day thanks to the mild adhesive. It uses a one-step dressing in place of conventional tape and gauze. Its extensible and conformable qualities offer a comfortable fit over central line dressings, and its water-resistant construction ensures durability.
Features:
- Available in both sterile and non-sterile options.
- Can also be used as an alternative to tape and gauze for central line dressing.
- The gentle adhesive allows for regular dressing changes.
- Replaces standard tape and gauze with a one-step dressing.
- Water resistant, extensible, and conformable.
Indications: It is indicated for the management of acute or chronic wounds.
Directions to use:
- Following local protocol, gently clean and dry the incision and surrounding skin. Any extra hair should be cut to ensure a snug fit with the wound.
- Choose a suitable clothing size.
- Remove the dressing from its pouch. Don't trim the dressing.
- Remove the upper part of the backing paper.
- Remove the lower half of the backing paper and apply it to the wound. Smooth the dressing down without straining, ensuring that the pad completely covers the wound, and if appropriate, the primary absorbent dressing.
Removal instructions:
- Remove carefully, particularly with elderly or fragile skin. Support the skin with your free hand and gradually pull the dressing away in the direction of hair development.
