CuraVance Silver Alginate Dressing

CuraVance Silver Alginate antibacterial calcium alginate dressing is rich in highly absorbent soft gelling mannuronic acid. The non-woven pad format manages exuding wounds, and the rope is appropriate for filling cavities and indurations. CuraVance Silver Alginate immediately forms a soft, hydrophilic gel on contact with wound exudate absorbing excess fluid and exudate-associated inhibitors of wound healing, creating a moist wound healing environment in intimate contact with the wound bed.

Non-woven reinforcing technology enhances wet strength, facilitating atraumatic and complete removal. CuraVance Silver Alginate provides antibacterial protection against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, commonly associated with wound infections.

Directions for Use

1. Follow wound bed preparation protocol including wound cleansing and debridement
2. Select a suitable dressing size that fits into the wound bed with no overlap
3. Apply the pad or rope to the wound bed with no overlap. If you need to fold the pad or rope to fit into the wound bed. Cover with a secondary dressing or bandage for fixation
4. To change the dressing, remove secondary dressing or bandage. Dispose as medical waste.
5. Follow wound bed preparation protocol including cleansing with appropriate solution before applying subsequent dressings.

• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
