Curity All Purpose Non-woven Sponges are made from a polyester and rayon blend, making them both highly absorbent and extremely soft to the touch. This combination of materials has excellent wicking properties, making the sponges ideal for cleaning wounds, applying medications, and absorbing exudate. The sponges are non-sterile, making them ideal for a variety of tasks including prepping, cleansing, and wiping. Their lint-free design reduces the chance of fibers remaining in the wound, lowering the risk of irritation or infection. These Sponges are also latex-free, making them suitable for use on patients with latex allergies.
