Description
Cutimed Cuticell Contact is a sterile, primary silicone wound contact layer made of a transparent, elastic polyurethane film coated with soft silicone. It gently adheres to the surrounding skin without sticking to the moist wound bed, allowing exudate to pass into a secondary absorbent dressing for effective healing management.
Features:
- Transparent film enables easy wound inspection
- Soft and highly conformable with two-way stretch
- Suitable for dry to heavily exuding wounds
- Requires a secondary absorbent dressing
- Ensures atraumatic dressing changes
Benefits:
- Allows quick visual assessment without removing the dressing
- Minimizes skin tension for enhanced comfort during wear
- Prevents tissue ingrowth and minimizes trauma during removal
- Reduces dressing change frequency, supporting undisturbed healing
- Helps maintain an optimal moist wound healing environment
Directions for use:
- Clean the wound according to clinical practice and ensure surrounding skin is dry
- Select a dressing size that covers the wound with at least 2 cm overlap
