• Pressure ulcers

Directions for use:

• Make sure the surrounding skin is dry and clean the wound in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Select an appropriately sized dressing
• Before opening, make sure the bag is intact, and then aseptically remove the dressing
• Depending on the shape of the wound, loosely fold or roll the dressing and cut it to size if needed
• Gently pack the wound cavity, filling no more than 60%, as the dressing will expand when absorbing exudate
• Cover with a suitable secondary dressing
• May be used on infected wounds under medical supervision alongside antimicrobial therapy
• Can be combined with other dressings (e.g., Cutimed Sorbact for infected wounds or Cutimed Gel for dry, necrotic wounds)
• Initially changing every 24 hours and then adjusting as necessary, it may stay in place for up to 7 days, depending on condition of the wound and the amount of exudate

How to remove:

• Gently lift and discard the dressing after carefully removing any attached materials
• If the wound is dry, moisten the dressing with sterile saline solution to ease removal
• Cleanse the wound as needed before applying a new dressing
