Cutimed Sorbact Antimicrobial Dressing coated with DACC Technology irreversibly binds and inactivates bacteria. The binding increases after 10 minutes and the bacterial counts remain stable during 20 hours and microbes multiply to a very low extent after binding. The bacteria-binding effect is of particular interest because it requires no systemic or local antimicrobial agents.
