Cutimed Sorbact Dressing Pad is a hydrophobic bacteria-binding wound dressing based on Sorbact Technology. It features an absorbent core that manages and retains moderate to high levels of wound exudate. Once applied, the dressing material attracts and binds pathogens, inactivating them without releasing any active agents. Each dressing change removes bound bacteria, effectively reducing the microbial load and supporting improved wound healing.

Directions for Use:

• Clean and prepare the wound and surrounding skin according to local clinical practice
• Select a dressing size that overlaps the wound margins by at least 2 cm; do not cut the dressing
• Remove the dressing from the sterile pouch using an aseptic technique
• Apply the dressing with the green contact layer facing the wound surface to ensure full microbial binding
• Secure the dressing with an elastic bandage or skin-friendly adhesive tape
• Dressing change frequency depends on wound exudate levels and condition; may remain in place for up to 7 days if clinically appropriate

How to Remove:

• If the dressing adheres to the wound, moisten it before removal to prevent damage to healing tissue
