Cyclinex-2 Amino Acid-Modified Medical Food is a specialized nutritional formulation created to support the dietary management of children and adults with specific metabolic requirements. Cyclinex-2 is used to enhance the nutrition of children and adults suffering from urea cycle disorders, choroid and retinal gyrate atrophy, or HHH syndrome. It is intended for use under medical supervision as part of an individualized nutrition plan.

Preparation

Preparation instructions may vary depending on individual nutritional requirements.

• Wash hands, surfaces, and utensils thoroughly
• Pour the prescribed amount of water into a clean container
• Add the prescribed amount of Cyclinex-2 powder (and any additional ingredients if recommended)
• Shake well for 10-15 seconds; if using a blender, mix no more than 5 seconds
• Pour into a clean feeding cup or container; cap
• Serve chilled. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard

• Add sweetened drink crystals to enhance flavor
• Add chocolate or strawberry syrup
• Mix Cyclinex-2 with fruit for smoothies
