Xtrasorb Classic Super Absorbent Non-Adhesive Dressing is a super absorbent polymer-based dressing for moderate to heavily exuding wounds that need extra fluid handling. The super-absorbent polymers bind fluid, convert it to a gel, and keep it from entering the wound. Xtrasorb Classic Dressing is ideal for use on leg ulcers, where compression bandages can be left in place for up to 7 days, as well as on other wounds with copious wound fluid when minimizing dressing changes is a goal

Rapid, extremely high capacity absorption.
Even under compression, fluid is locked in.
Fluid binding aids in the prevention of maceration.
Extended wear times result in higher cost efficiency.
The outer layer protects clothing and bed sheets.
SAP layer adds cushioning and pressure redistribution.
Non-adherent to the wound bed, allowing for easy removal.
Absorption is two to four times greater than with standard foam dressings.
Fewer dressing changes mean less disruption to the wound bed.
