How to Apply

1. Cleanse the wound according to local infection control protocols.
2. Ensure the surrounding skin is clean and dry; apply skin barrier prep if needed.
3. Cut the dressing to size if required.
4. Apply the dressing directly to the wound, ensuring full contact with the wound bed.
5. Secure with tape or an appropriate cover dressing that manages drainage and maintains a moist wound environment.

Removal & Change Frequency

• The dressing may be left in place for up to 3 days or as directed by a qualified health care professional.

Indications for Use

DermaBlue+ Foam Transfer is indicated for moderately exuding, partial- to full-thickness wounds, including:

• Pressure injuries
• Leg ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Graft wounds and donor sites
• Skin tears
• First- and second-degree burns
• Surgical wounds
• Lacerations and abrasions

Contraindications

• Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to silver or any component of the dressing.
• Not indicated for third-degree burns.

Warnings & Precautions

• For single use only.
• If signs of infection occur, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
• Dressing is sterile unless the package is opened or damaged.
• Do not resterilize.

Storage Requirements

• Store in a dry place at room temperature.
• Keep away from sunlight.

Use and Application

DermaBlue+ Foam Transfer may be cut, rolled, or layered to accommodate wound shape and size. Direct contact with the entire wound bed is necessary for optimal performance. Secure with tape or an appropriate secondary dressing to control exudate and support a moist wound environment. The dressing may remain in place for up to three days or as directed by a healthcare professional.
