How to Apply

• Cleanse the wound according to standard wound care protocols
• Gently place DermaGinate Fluffy Rope into the wound bed without overpacking
• Ensure the dressing fully contacts areas with exudate
• Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing
• Change dressing as clinically indicated based on exudate levels

Indications for Use

DermaGinate 12" Fluffy Rope is indicated as a primary wound dressing for acute and chronic partial- to full-thickness wounds with moderate to high exudate, including:

• Pressure injuries and pressure ulcers
• Diabetic ulcers
• Leg ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Donor sites
• Lacerations and abrasions
• Palliative wounds

Contraindications

• Do not use on individuals who are sensitive or allergic to the dressing or its components
• Not indicated for dry wounds
• Not intended to control heavy bleeding
• Not for surgical implantation

Warnings & Precautions

• For external wound care use only
• Discontinue use if signs of sensitivity or irritation occur
• Use only as a primary dressing with appropriate secondary coverage

Storage Requirements

• Store in a dry location
• Maintain room temperature between 59°F and 86°F (15°C–30°C).
• Protect from excess moisture prior to use
