How to Apply
- Cleanse the wound according to standard wound care protocol.

- Change the dressing according to the level of exudate and clinical protocol.
Indications for Use
DermaGinate Calcium Alginate Dressing is indicated as a primary dressing for wounds with moderate to heavy exudate, including:
- Pressure injuries
- Diabetic ulcers and diabetic foot wounds
- Post-operative wounds
- Leg ulcers
- Donor sites
- Surgical wounds
- Lacerations and abrasions
- Sloughy wounds
- Acute and chronic wounds
- Palliative wounds
Contraindications
- Do not use on individuals sensitive or allergic to the dressing or its components.
- Not indicated for surgical implantation, dry wounds, or control of heavy bleeding.
Warnings & Precautions
- For external use only.
- Do not use if the dressing is damaged or compromised.
- Discontinue use if irritation or adverse reaction occurs.
- Use according to established wound care protocols.
Storage Requirements
- Store in a dry location.
- Maintain at room temperature (59°F–86°F / 15°C–30°C).
- Keep in original packaging until use.
