Starts From
Description
AquaRite Extra CMC is a soft, conformable, non-woven wound dressing made from sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) combined with strengthening cellulose fibers. Designed for moderate to heavily exuding wounds, this highly absorbent dressing forms a soothing clear gel when saturated with fluid, helping manage exudate while supporting a moist wound environment. Its ability to retain structure when saturated allows for easy, one-piece removal, improving patient comfort and clinical efficiency.
Features & Benefits
- Clear Gel-Forming Action Forms a soothing clear gel on contact with wound fluid to support moist wound healing.
- High Absorbency with Vertical Fluid Control Absorbs moderate to heavy exudate with a high vertical absorption rate to help protect wound edges and surrounding skin from maceration.
- Debris & Bacteria Trapping Gel helps trap debris and bacteria within the dressing for improved wound management.
- Maintains Integrity When saturated, it retains its structure to facilitate clean, one-piece removal.
- Supports Autolytic Debridement Helps create an optimal environment that supports the body's natural wound-cleansing process.
- Latex-Free Not made with natural rubber latex.
