Featuring a gentle silicone contact layer, it adheres securely to intact skin without sticking to the wound itself. Its porous mesh structure allows wound exudate to pass through easily to secondary absorbent dressings, helping maintain an effective wound healing environment while minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes.

How to Apply
- Cleanse the wound according to facility protocol
- Place ComfiTel Silicone Contact Layer Dressing directly over the wound bed
- Ensure the dressing gently adheres to intact periwound skin
- Cover with an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing based on exudate level
Indications for Use
ComfiTel Silicone Contact Layer Dressing is indicated as a primary dressing for dry to heavily exuding partial- and full-thickness wounds, including:
- Venous ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Neuropathic ulcers
- Traumatic wounds such as abrasions, cuts, and lacerations
- Surgical wounds
- First- and second-degree burns
- Skin tears with flaps, where secure flap approximation is required
Warnings & Precautions
- Intended for use as a contact layer only and must be used with an appropriate secondary dressing
- Discontinue use if sensitivity or irritation occurs
Storage Requirements
- Store in a dry location
- Maintain room temperature between 59°F and 86°F (15°C–30°C).
