Active Ingredients

How to Apply

• Prepare the wound area according to standard wound care protocols
• Select an appropriately sized ComfortFoam Ag dressing
• Apply the dressing with the silicone adhesive side in contact with the wound
• Ensure the dressing adheres securely to surrounding skin
• Change the dressing as clinically indicated or when exudate levels require replacement

Indications for Use

ComfortFoam Ag is indicated for the management of exuding wounds, including:

• Leg and foot ulcers
• Pressure injuries
• Traumatic wounds
• Surgical wounds
• Superficial burns
• Partial-thickness burns

Contraindications

• Should not be used on patients with a known sensitivity or allergy to silver or any other component of the dressing

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not use with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide
• Do not use during radiation treatment
• Do not use during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures including:
  • X-ray
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Ultrasound
  • Diathermy
• Avoid contact with electrodes or conductive gels during electronic measurements such as ECG or EEG

Storage Requirements

• Store in a dry location
• Maintain room temperature conditions between 59°F and 86°F (15°C–30°C).
