How to Apply

• Clean and prepare the wound area according to standard wound care protocols
• Ensure the surrounding skin is clean and dry
• Select an appropriately sized ComfortFoam Ag Border dressing
• Remove the release liner and gently place the dressing over the wound
• Smooth the silicone border onto the surrounding skin to secure placement

Indications for Use

ComfortFoam Ag Border is indicated for the management of exuding wounds, including:

• Leg and foot ulcers
• Pressure injuries
• Traumatic wounds
• Surgical wounds
• Superficial burns
• Partial-thickness burns

Contraindications

• Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity or allergy to silver or any other components of the dressing

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not use with oxidants such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide
• Do not use during radiation treatment or diagnostic examinations, including
  • X-ray
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Ultrasound
  • Diathermy
• Avoid contact with electrodes or conductive gels during electronic measurements such as ECG and EEG

Storage Requirements

• Store in a dry location
• Maintain storage at room temperature (59°F-86°F)

ComfortFoam Ag Border may be used in both acute and chronic wound care settings and is suitable for:

• Moderate to highly exuding wounds
