Eclypse Adherent Super Absorbent Dressing

Eclypse Adherent super-absorbent dressing with a soft silicone contact layer features a non-strikethrough backing, and CrystaLock technology. The soft silicone layer adheres gently to dry skin without sticking to the wound bed, reducing or eliminating pain or tissue damage during removal. The dressing includes rapid wicking technology along with a highly absorbent moisture locking system, while its absorbent layer has a large capacity and absorbs fluid quickly, forming a gel on contact with exudate. Eclypse Adherent dressing by MediUSA contains a water-resistant barrier film to prevent strike-through and a high moisture vapour transfer rate, which extends wear ability. It works well with soft-adherence or compression/retention bandaging for moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

Indications:

• Moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as- Leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, sloughy or granulating wounds, post operative sutured or dehisced wounds, fungating wounds, donor sites and patients with fragile skin
• Can be used as a primary dressing on clean wounds requiring exudate management.
• Can be applied as a secondary dressing to manage exudate where a primary dressing is already in place.

Contra-indications: Do not use Eclypse Adherent Sacral on arterial bleeds or heavily bleeding wounds.
