Eclypse Boot Super Absorbent Wound Dressing

Eclypse Boot Dressing is a high-capacity, highly absorbent wound dressing that can be used under compression bandaging to effectively manage exudate on the lower leg. It can be used as a secondary dressing to supplement other primary treatments or as a primary dressing for clean wounds that need exudate control.

Features:

• Strike-through is avoided with water-resistant backing.
• Patients will have a secure, comfortable fit thanks to the soft and conformable design.
• By trapping bacteria, CrystaLock technology lowers the chance of infection.
• Available in a variety of sizes that are clinically effective.
• Dressing removal is painless because the soft silicone contact layer sticks to the dry surrounding skin.
• A second layer evenly distributes exudate and lowers sub-bandage pressure, making it safe for use under compression.

Indications: Moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as:

• leg ulcers,
• superficial wounds,
• pressure ulcers,
• arterial ulcers,
• leaky legs,
• diabetic ulcers,
• lymphoedema.

Contra-indications:

• Do not cut the dressing.
• Do not use Eclypse on arterial bleeds and heavily bleeding wound.

Instructions for Use:

1. Open out the dressing fully, white side up placing the heel onto the small triangle, the top of the triangle pointing towards the patient.
2. Fold over the foot one at a time the smaller sections to the left and right and secure with tape.
3. Fold both the larger sections one at a time around the leg also securing with tape.
