Eclypse Border Oval Super Absorbent Dressing with Soft Silicone Contact Layer is intended to control exudate, minimize leakage, and lower the risk of maceration. It has a hypoallergenic border and a soft silicone contact layer that adheres to itself. The hypoallergenic border ensures extra adhesion, and the silicone layer offers mild adherence for atraumatic removal. The dressing can be used as a secondary dressing to support other treatments or as a primary dressing for clean wounds that need exudate management.

Features:

• Strike-through is avoided by water-resistant backing.
• Patients can fit comfortably and securely thanks to the soft, conformable design.
• By trapping bacteria, CrystaLock technology lowers the risk of infection.
• Available in a variety of sizes that are clinically effective.
• For painless dressing removal, the soft silicone contact layer sticks to the dry surrounding skin.
• A second layer evenly distributes exudate, lowering sub-bandage pressure, making it suitable for use under compression.

Indications: Moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as:

• Pressure ulcers,
• Leg ulcers,
• Surgical wounds,
• Burns,
• Graft sites,
• Lymphatic legs,
• Fistulas,
• Fungating tumours.

Contra-indications:

• Do not use if allergic to silicone.
• Do not use on arterial bleeds or heavily bleeding wounds.
• Single-use dressing only; do not use on more than one patient.
• Opening the dressing package breaks the sterile barrier. Any opened dressings should be discarded.
