Esteem Synergy Convex Moldable Skin Barrier has a unique Adhesive Coupling Technology. Instead of plastic rings, Convatec Esteem Synergy Skin barrier contains patented foam adhesive that secures the pouch to the skin barrier on a clear plastic "Landing Zone" flange. The end result is a low-profile, flexible two-piece system. Convex is ideal for those who have a recessed or flat stoma. Moldable barriers provide superior skin protection than traditional barriers.

Esteem Synergy Convex Skin Barrier is a moldable barrier that shapes itself to fit to the stomal opening without the need for cutting, preventing fluid leakage while creating deep convexity. Convexity causes the stoma to protrude by pushing on the abdomen. Thisskin barrier is suitable for colostomy, ileostomy, urostomy, sensitive skin, active, daywear, nightwear, maximum protection, extended wear, hospital, travel, extended travel, swimming, bathing, flush and retracted stoma.
