How to Apply
FlexPress4 is applied sequentially using its four distinct layers to achieve effective graduated compression:
- Layer 1—Padding Bandage (4"x3.8 yd): Soft, absorbent padding is applied first to protect bony prominences and enhance comfort.
- Layer 2—Conforming Bandage (4"x4.9 yd): This elastic, highly conformable layer provides additional absorption and helps shape the limb.
- Layer 3—Compression Bandage (4"x9.5 yd): Applied to deliver gentle, therapeutic compression.
- Layer 4—Cohesive Bandage (4"x6.5 yd): Secures all layers in place while providing additional compression support.
Removal & Change Frequency
- May be safely worn for up to 7 days.
Indications for Use
- Venous Leg Ulcers Indicated as therapeutic compression for the management of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions in individuals with appropriate arterial circulation and ankle circumference.
Contraindications
- Should not be used on patients with an ankle-brachial index (ABI) less than 0.8.
Warnings & Precautions
- Used only as directed
- Applied and supervised by a qualified health care professional
Storage Requirements
- Keep dry
- Store in a dry location at room temperature
- Recommended storage temperature: 59°F–86°F (15°C–30°C)
