How to Apply

FlexPress2 should be applied following local skin and wound care and dressing placement as directed by a qualified health care professional:

1. Layer 1—Cohesive Comfort Compression Bandage (4" x 7.1 yd): Apply evenly to provide initial compression and comfort.
2. Layer 2—Cohesive Compression Bandage (4" x 8.9 yd): Apply over the first layer to achieve moderate to high therapeutic compression.

Indications for Use

• Venous Leg Ulcers For the management of edema related to venous leg ulcers and associated conditions.

Contraindications

• Should not be used on patients with an ankle-brachial index (ABI) less than 0.8.

Warnings & Precautions

• Use compression bandaging systems:
  • Only as directed and supervised by a qualified health care professional
• Remove promptly if:
  • Foot pain occurs
  • Toes change color and become cool, painful, or numb
• Use caution:
  • When applying to thin lower legs with prominent bony areas, additional padding may be required
  • When applying to patients with diabetes
  • If used on infected wounds, inspect and treat per facility protocols

Use and Application

FlexPress2 is intended for therapeutic compression in venous ulcer care. The system is applied after appropriate wound dressing and may remain in place for up to 7 days, based on clinical assessment and patient tolerance.
